When we first launched Saturday Quiz Time in the heart of Melbourne’s 2020 lockdown, it was all about reconnecting with friends on the weekends, without the distractions. Back then, SMS felt like the perfect way to do just that.

As our quiz grew, so did the requests for more options—especially support for email. After lots of behind-the-scenes tweaking and tinkering, we’re happy to announce that email authentication is live!

SMS has served us well, and it will continue to do so! But now you can also use your email to sign in and receive a link to the weekly edition. You’ll no longer be stuck without access on your next European holiday or the next time you’re in the outback with no phone reception.

You can choose to receive notifications via phone or email — whichever suits you best. Or, if you prefer, you can opt out of notifications altogether by managing your settings in your account.
